The Details.

a. Family lift-passes for day trippers are available for 2 adults and 2 or more of your own children at a rate of $75 for members 
    and  $150 for non-members.   Note - can not be purchased in conjunction with accommodation, only for day tripping families.

b. Ski Week rates include six nights' accommodation, lift-passes for all days including arrival and departure days, meals from 
    Sunday night to the following Saturday lunch, hot tub plus access to the fancy dress box! 
    Note - you will need to request lunch on arrival day if you are coming before lunch and don't wish to BYO lunch. 
   
    Lunch on arrival day - (all ages) Members $12, Non-members, affiliates, students etc $15
   Please request Lunch on Arrival Day as an option at time of booking accommodation,
   Or request at the Far Canal Bar or by phone before the 11am cut off.
   You will be given a lunch voucher to be presented to a volley as you receive your lunch.   

    Please also note - the skiing component is discounted when you pay for a ski week.  
    Ie:  Pay for between 1 and 5 lift-passes (depending on your membership status) but receive 7 days worth of lift-passes. 

c. Weekend Warrior Package includes hot tub, dinner, 1 night accommodation, lift passes, breakfast and lunch the following day 
    plus access to the fancy dress box!
    Note - you will need to request lunch on arrival day if you are coming before lunch and don't wish to BYO lunch. 

d. Two-Night rates are for advertised mini breaks only and include lift-passes (1 free day lift pass bonus), hot tub, dinner, accommodation,
​    breakfast and lunch the following day plus access to the fancy dress box!  
    Note - you will need to request lunch on arrival day if you are coming before lunch and don't wish to BYO lunch. 

e. Three-Night rates are for advertised mini breaks only and include lift-passes (1 free day lift pass bonus), hot tub, dinner, accommodation,
​    breakfast and lunch the following day plus access to the fancy dress box!  
    Note - you will need to request lunch on arrival day if you are coming before lunch and don't wish to BYO lunch. 

f. Four-Night rates are for advertised mini breaks only and include lift-passes (1 free day lift pass bonus) , hot tub, dinner, accommodation,
​   breakfast and lunch the following day plus access to the fancy dress box!  
    Note - you will need to request lunch on arrival day if you are coming before lunch and don't wish to BYO lunch.
 
g. Bottom Hut rates are for accommodation only - bring your own food.

Season's Passes and Chill Passes can be used to reduce full or partial ski-week rates.

Part ski week rates are based on a weekend package for the first night, followed by a Top Hut Accommodation rate and a ski day 
for each extra night but note that paying for a whole ski week may be cheaper considering discounted lift-passes offered with the ski week rates.

There are NO ski-hire or ski tuning facilities on the mountain.  Skis can be hired in Christchurch, Methven or Darfield.

Payments.

Mt Olympus only accepts payment for bookings by Visa, Mastercard, or bank deposit once we send you an invoice, OR... if your booking is for the immediate future and there isn't time to pay, or it is for a popular Saturday night, the Bookings Chick may phone you and ask for your credit card over the phone to secure the space with a $50 non-refundable deposit request.

Up on the mountain, extra payments can be made by cash or Eftpos

Non-skiing Hut Use.

In winter both the Top and Bottom Huts are available for use by schools, tramping clubs or other organisations.

Booking Form

Accommodation, Cancellation and Refund Policy.

Refunds on cancellation of booked and confirmed accommodation and refunds on cancellation of booked and confirmed accommodation/lift packages are as follows:

1. When an accommodation or accommodation/ski package is cancelled by the Windwhistle Winter Sports Club INC, a full refund will be given.
2. When an accommodation or accommodation/ski package is cancelled by guests booked in any of the two lodges, an administration fee and cancellation fees will be applied.
3. An administration fee of $50 (or the amount of the applicable refund if less than $50) will be deducted from the amount of any refund payable.
4. Any refund payable will be paid by the Club Treasurer and will not be paid by the ski area or by ski area staff.
5. Cancellation fees and refunds upon cancellation of a booking will apply as follows:-       

            Ski weeks - Sunday night to Saturday morning bookings

1. • Cancellation 21 days or more prior to the commencement date of booking: 90% refund less administration fee.
   • Cancellation between 21 days and 5 days prior to commencement date of booking: 50% refund less administration fee.
   • Cancellation within 5 days of commencement date of booking, or during the period of the booking: No refund will be given.
   
   
   Short stay, Mini Breaks and Saturday night bookings
   
   
   • We require payment within 24 hours of booking to confirm if it is within 7 days, outside of 7 days we require it within 72 hours.
   • Cancellations by Wednesday night 8pm will incur a 10% admin fee. 
     No refund will be given after this point.
   • NO PAYMENT.  NO BOOKING.
   
   Group bookings over 10 people, are 100% NON refundable between 21 days and the period of the booking.
   
   
 These conditions apply to all bookings whether by both members and non-members.

 All claims MUST be in writing and refunds will be  determined at the discretion of the Committee at the first 

 committee meeting after the ski-week/stay concerned.
